Lee 44/40 Steel 3-Die Set. Includes Full Length Sizing Die, Powder Through Expanding Die, Micrometer Bullet Seating Die, Universal Shell Holder, powder measure and instructions with load data.
Lee resizing lubricant is required with this die set.
If you find your reloaded .44-40 cartridges will not chamber in your Uberti weapons, it is not the dies. Uberti has decided to cut the .44-40 chambers to a standard other than SAAMI. The shoulder in the chamber is .050" closer to the breech face. If you return the resizing die to the factory, we will adjust it for you at no charge.
Please note: Uberti has cut the shoulder in their weapons .050 shorter than SAAMI specs. Shorten resizing die head space .050".
