$Franchi has taken our already exceptional Affinity 3 and tweaked a few things to solidify its class-dominating performance. We gave it a slimmer profile with enhanced ergonomics to deliver amazing instinctive pointability and swing-through balance. New checkering on the grip and forend offer improved grasp in slick conditions, and a larger trigger guard opening makes shooting with gloves easier. We added a new two-piece shell latch to improve loading and unloading characteristics, and a new bolt-release button is easier to find and deploy with gloves or in low light. Two things we didn't touch were the splendid Italian craftsmanship and the famously durable, reliable and fast-shooting inertia-driven action. The Inertia Driven® system, employed in the Franchi Affinity 3 and 3.5, affords these shotguns a lighter, slimmer profile for better handling. With no heavy gas cylinder under the forend, Franchi Inertia Driven® shotguns balance and swing like a fine game gun should. PROVEN RELIABILITY- The Inertia Driven® system never needs adjusting and will cycle anything from field loads to 3½" magnums with consistent reliability year after year, after year. SIMPLICITY- Inertia Driven® is simple with only three primary parts: the bolt body, the inertia spring and the rotating bolt head. CLEANER- Gas, smoke and burnt powder stay in the barrel where they belong, rather than being channeled into the gun’s mechanism, as they are in gas-operated systems. STRONG- The strong steel locking lugs on the Inertia Driven® system's rotating bolt head not only lock steel-to-steel into the gun's barrel; the lugs lock in even tighter during firing. LOW MAINTENANCE- The Inertia Driven® system is much cleaner, so gun cleaning takes a fraction of the time that it takes to clean a gas-system gun. Warranty 7 year warranty logo A new Franchi firearm is warranted only to the original retail purchaser, for 7 years from the date of purchase. This warranty applies only if the firearm was purchased from an authorized dealer in the United States. You do not need to register your firearm (online or warranty card) to be covered by the warranty. The warranty will be validated by the serial number of your firearm. We do recommend keeping a copy of your original proof of purchase. Franchi will, at its option, repair or replace without charge any Franchi firearm that fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship. Parts and labor are included. Repairs are warranted for the duration of the original warranty. If Franchi replaces a firearm under this warranty, you will receive a new 7-year warranty.
