The Buck Alpha Guide Elite is a multipurpose field knife built for hunting and rigorous outdoor use. Upgraded to include MagnaCut steel, this knife features a long blade edge with an upswept drop point blade. The high-panel flat grind adds toughness and increases cutting performance of blade, while the jimping on the blade spine and handle improves grip. Pinch points on the handle increase control when using different grips for detailed work.
The machine-textured G10 handle gives you a trusted grip, even in wet conditions. Each handle scale is removable, allowing for easy cleanup after processing your prey. Full tang construction ensures durability, strength and overall balance.
A lanyard can be attached to the lanyard hole to enhance knife retention, aid in retrieval from its sheath, or add a bit of personalization.
Knife made in the USA. Imported Kydex sheath includes: Black sheath with rivets, locking, multi-position belt attachment, adapter plate, and hardware. Kydex sheaths are form-fitted to your knife and will initially have a very tight fit. The sheath will break in and loosen up a bit, but will still securely hold your knife. It is normal to see plastic shavings after the first few uses. Sheath is compatible with Tek-Lok belt attachments (not included).
What is MagnaCut? MagnaCut is an exotic, powder metallurgy stainless steel. It has excellent toughness, edge retention, and corrosion resistance, striking a balance between all of the properties that make a high-performance steel. MagnaCut does not have any performance tradeoffs like other exotic steels. It was developed specifically as a knife steel.
